At the meeting, held at the Rectorate of the University of Kragujevac on August 02, 2018, present were prof. Nenad Filipović, PhD, Acting Rector of the University of Kragujevac, prof. Miroslava Petrović Torgašev, PhD, Vice-Rector for Science, prof. Živadin Micić, PhD, Vice-Rector for Education and Student Affairs, Mr. Radomir Nikolić, City of Kragujevac Mayor, Ms. Minja Obradović, Member of the City Council in charge of Investments and Project Management, prof. Miljan Bjeletić, PhD, Member of the City Council in charge of Culture.
A meeting of the representatives of the City of Kragujevac and the University of Kragujevac
The topic of the meeting was cooperation between the City and the University of Kragujevac, in the following areas:
- undertaking joint activities to provide the necessary conditions for the functioning of the Legacy of academician Nikola Koka Jankovic;
- establishing cooperation to provide the necessary space for the construction of a science and technology park and possible models of collaboration;
- providing space for the work of the Faculty of Philology and Arts and the necessity to significantly accelerate the process;
- information on the status of built apartments for young researchers and transfer of the City of Kragujevac ownership to the Republic of Serbia.
The conclusion of the meeting was to intensify work on the mentioned activities in the following period and to hold several joint meetings of the representatives of the City of Kragujevac and the University of Kragujevac in order to realize them.
