Call for Applications: Erasmus+ Funded Student Mobility for Traineeship

In accordance with the signed Grant Agreement between the University of Kragujevac and the Tempus Foundation, the University of Kragujevac announces a Call for Applications for funded long-term student mobility for traineeship under the Erasmus+ KA131 Programme: SMP – Student Mobility for Traineeship.
 

I. Eligibility

Eligible applicants: students of undergraduate, master’s, integrated, and doctoral academic studies from all faculties of the University of Kragujevac, as well as students of master’s programs at the University of Kragujevac.

• • The traineeship can take place between November 1, 2025, and July 31, 2026.
  • The exact period is defined by the student together with the host company/institution.
  • The traineeship lasts 2 months (60 days).

  • Students independently find a company/institution where they wish to do their traineeship; the only requirement is that the host institution is located in one of the eligible countries (see the Table below)
    You can also explore opportunities on the Erasmus Intern website, created as a project of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN), where traineeship offers are published.
• • Applicants may apply to up to two institutions. They must submit documentation (Agreement for training, motivational letter and acceptance letter) for both, but can only be selected for one.
  • If a candidate applies to multiple calls announced in the winter semester of the 2025/2026 academic year (KA131 and KA171), mobility can only be realized under one call.

II Scholarship and additional information

Monthly scholarship amount depends on the country where the host-institution is located.

Additional financial support:  All selected students receive €150/month extra for traineeship support.

Travel costs: Students arrange their own travel but are entitled to an allowance based on travel distance. For calculation the distance, the use of the Distance calculator is obligatory.

Green Travel: Students who will predominantly use means of transport with lower emissions (e.g., train, bus, or carpooling) for their return journey are entitled to an increased travel allowance under the ‘green travel’ scheme.

Inclusion measures in the Erasmus+ program

The programme seeks to promote equal opportunities and access, inclusion, diversity, and fairness in all its activities. At the core of these goals are participants with fewer opportunities. With this in mind, the programme provides mechanisms and resources to make participation accessible to a wider range of students.

Students with fewer opportunities: Students who belong to one of the inclusion categories are entitled to an additional €250 per month. The pre-conditions can be found HERE. Only selected students who meet the criteria will collect the necessary documentation.

In the case of applicants with disabilities, in addition to the required application documentation, appropriate medical documentation must also be submitted. Additional information can be found HERE.

If the selected candidate is a person with disabilities, they may be entitled to reimbursement of eligible actual costs incurred during the mobility period, upon submission of additional documentation.

Health insurance: The insurance covering the mobility period is mandatory, but not covered by the scholarship. Students must arrange it themselves and shall receive the relevant information before mobility.
 

III Evaluation and Selection

Upon the Call's closing, the International Relations Office at the University of Kragujevac will conduct a technical review of submitted applications. The Mobility Program Implementation Commission will evaluate all applications based on the Regulations on Criteria for Evaluation and Selection of students, teaching and administrative staff of the University of Kragujevac (Students - Evaluation Form) and will publish the final ranking list on the University's website.

 Priority will be given to applicants with disabilities.

The ranking list will be published on the University's website under the "Call Results" section.

Appeal Process: Applicants who believe they have been unfairly evaluated can file an appeal in accordance with the defined procedure (Regulations, Article 15).

All selected candidates will receive instructions and further information regarding the mobility process via email.
 

IV Application

Applications must be submitted exclusively via the Erasmus+ portal.

Deadline: October 6, 2025.

Incomplete or late applications, or those not submitted via the portal, will not be considered.
