Topic: The University of Navarra (UNAV) is a non-profit private university founded in 1952 based in Pamplona, Spain. The University of Navarra is looking for an enthusiastic postdoctoral researcher interested in developing an MSCA-PF proposal at the interface of soil microbial ecology, emerging contaminants and antimicrobial resistance. The broad research framework will explore how the use and recycling of organic residues in agriculture may influence soil microbial communities, the environmental fate of antibiotic residues and the occurrence, persistence or dissemination of antimicrobial resistance. The candidate, in collaboration with his/her supervisors, will develop an original and innovative research project trying to capitalize his/her scientific background, expertise and career objectives. The final proposal will be jointly developed with the supervisor, combining the candidate’s strengths with the host group’s experience and facilities.
Requirements of the candidate:
- Main research field: Environmental Microbiology
- Good command of English
- PhD. No more than 8 years of full research work since the date of PhD defence at date 2026 September 09
- The candidate must not have lived or worked in Spain more than 12 months in the last 36 months calculating from 2026 September 09
