Requirements of the candidate:
- The applicant that holds a PhD, or will have successfully defended the thesis by 9 September 2026 (formal award of the degree may still be pending), in bioprocess/chemical/control engineering, biotechnology, applied mathematics, computer science, or a related field
- background in one or more of: bioprocess/fermentation, process modelling, control and optimisation, PAT/spectroscopy and chemometrics, hybrid modelling/machine learning, or downstream processing
- maximum 8 years of research experience, measured from the date of the PhD award
- the researcher must not have resided or carried out their main activity in Switzerland for more than 12 months in the 36 months immediately before the call deadline
