Organized by the Center for Green Economy of the University of Kragujevac, Circular Economy Day was held at the University of Kragujevac on May 27, 2026.
On the occasion of the 40th Rector’s Cup, The University of Kragujevac hosted the traditional student sports competition, which once again brought together a large number of students from the University members.
In the presence of numerous distinguished officials, members of the academic community, and honored guests, the University of Kragujevac celebrated its 50th anniversary on Thursday, May 21, 2026.
From 19 to 22 May 2026, the University of Kragujevac successfully organized its 8th International Week, bringing together academic and administrative staff from partner universities across 11 countries: Bulgaria, Romania, Bangladesh, Turkey, Mexico, Egypt, the Dominican Republic, Italy, Georgia, Albania, and Montenegro.
The STE(PA)M project (STEPAM – Teacher Training in Physical Activities and Embodied Learning through STEAM Education, project number: 2023-1-RS01-KA220-HED-000166894) aims to improve the education system through the integration of physical activity into the STEAM approach, thereby fostering the development of key student competences such as critical thinking, creativity, and digital skills. The project will develop practical educational materials, including a handbook with 36 examples, a scientific publication, and an e-learning platform, in order to ensure broad implementation and sustainability of the model. A particular focus is placed on empowering teachers and promoting the STE(PA)M approach at both national and international levels. The project is coordinated by the University of Kragujevac, in partnership with institutions from Finland and Austria.
